St. Charles Catholic School's goal is to provide a quality education that prepares the students for high school and to imbue in each of them an understanding of Christian philosophy and the tenants of the Catholic Faith.
The St. Charles Catholic School Scholarship Program is intended to assist families who wish to provide a Catholic education to their children but are financially unable to do so. The program matches a donor’s contribution to a specific student, effectively reducing the tuition that the family provides.
Students under scholarship are expected to maintain good standing in the school, including maintaining at least an overall C+ average and to behave according to Christian principles. Scholarship students are encouraged and supported during the year as part of the requalification for continued participation in the program. Each donor will receive correspondence from the school acknowledging their tax-deductible donation.
St Charles is a qualified charitable non-profit organization (Tax ID available upon request) Scholarship recipients will be expected to reflect and write about the impact the donation has made on their lives and how they plan to "pay it forward".
There are four donor levels that offset the roughly $6000/yr. tuition: $500, $1000, $2500 and $5000. Donors are encouraged to pledge the donations for at least two years to maintain continuity for the students. Donations can be made once at the onset of the school year, at the year's midpoint of Christmas, or using a monthly payment schedule.
Donors are welcome to schedule a visit to the school to view the facilities and visit with staff and students. Donors may remain anonymous.
