Born and raised in Albuquerque, I am a proud product of Albuquerque’s excellent Catholic Schools; I attended Our Lady of Fatima and St. Pius X High School. After high school, I attended UNM, completing my degree in History and Media Arts in 2005.
After living in Albuquerque for 21 years, my wife and I decided we needed something new, and settled down in Missoula, Montana. Montana was amazing, but too far from home. After five years of living with the bears, it was time to come home and care for my grandmother.
While caring for my grandmother, I decided to go back to school for a teaching license. While attending school, I worked full time with APS schools. This helped reaffirm my interest in pursuing a career in education and my desire to go back to the parochial system. After student teaching at St. Pius, I was hired at St. Charles in 2012, and have been teaching here ever since.
I enjoy rescuing my son's stuffed animals from my dog Griffin, reading non-fiction, watching movies, and thinking about traveling to new places.
