Ms. Lori Connerley

5th Grade Teacher

I am very excited to be the new 5th grade teacher at St. Charles this year!

      I grew up in San Diego, California, and taught there for many years, but I have also worked with students in many other parts of the country, including New York City, New Brunswick, New Jersey, the Navajo Nation, Laguna Pueblo, as well as here in Albuquerque.

      I love supporting children as they learn and grow spiritually, academically, and socially. My classroom includes both individual and group work in a structured, caring environment where everyone feels welcome and valued. I also think learning should be fun so I like to use hands-on activities, games, and technology to engage the students and reinforce their knowledge.

     I have been teaching for 26 years and I am looking forward to being part of the St. Charles community for my 27th year!
