Mr. Joseph Sanchez

I am very blessed to be able to have the opportunity to teach here at St. Charles! This year I will be teaching Middle School Religion, 6th Grade Science, 5th/6th Grade P.E., helping with 3rd Religion. I was born and raised in Belen and have since moved to Albuquerque once I married my wonderful wife, Brianna. I have been very blessed to have parents who valued my education and sent me to St. Mary’s Belen and St. Pius X High School. These schools had such an impact on my life, and I am still grateful for everything I have received from these schools. I am also grateful to God for all His blessings which came from these schools.

I graduated UNM in 2017 and became a certified teacher in 2019 thanks to CNM. I have been teaching since 2017, starting at St. Charles. I then left to teach at John Adams Middle School in 2021 to help take care of my wife and to get ready for our new blessing. Despite having a great year at JAMS, I was offered the chance to return to St. Charles and I could not pass it up!

I love learning more about, sharing, and living out my Catholic Faith! The Catholic Faith is so beautiful and rich, and I look forward to helping students find this love as well. God is amazing, and I also hope to help children see this reality as well. I also love hanging out with my wife and our wonderful sons, Alan and Malachi.
