The course of study at St. Charles complies with the curriculum competencies adopted by the Archdiocese of Santa Fe and the New Mexico State Department of Education. We are accredited through the WCEA, Western Catholic Educational Association.
In our search for excellence, St. Charles students are given every opportunity to develop their talents fully. We believe in educating the whole person. We offer core subjects in correlation with Art, Music, Spanish, Theology, and Computers in order to give each student a solid foundation.
We support grades Pre-K through 8th.

Our Religion curriculum is based on the six tasks of catechesis as six key elements of lived Catholic life so as to help our students realize the intimate connection between our Catholic faith and life. Including the strong relationship between the pillars of the Catechism of the Catholic Church and the key elements of Catholic life. The standards are based on the current Catechism of the Catholic Church, Doctrine and Tradition of the Catholic Church as well as Sacred Scripture and form the foundation of the curriculum, shaping its direction.
Our Student Learning Expectations, or SLEs, were developed during our 2016 accreditation with the WCEA. These expecations are posted in all classrooms and are reviewed as a school each morning during our announcements. We routinely discuss our SLEs with our students and focus on how our children can best model these expectations in and outside school.

We regularly assess our students with short and meaningful assessments to track students growth.
